Session mode vs camp mode: two different ways of thinking about bookings

Using session mode to manage a camp means faking "rooms" as one-hour slots — and the availability logic will never be quite right. Using camp mode for a surf school is overkill and creates a confusing experience for a guest who just wants to book tomorrow's lesson.
Capacity: instructor slots vs beds — two completely different models
Surf school bottleneck = which instructors are available at time X.
With 3 instructors handling 6 students each, total capacity is 18 per session. Double-booking an instructor means two groups are in the water at the same time — that is a safety issue, not just an operational inconvenience.
If an instructor calls in sick, availability must update to remove their slots for that day.
Surf camp bottleneck = which beds are available on date Y.
8 dorm beds plus 2 private rooms. Guest A checks out Friday morning, Guest B checks in Friday afternoon — the same bed must be free for B when A leaves. Double-booking a bed means a guest arrives with nowhere to sleep — a significantly more serious problem than an inconvenience.
And if dorm beds and private rooms are not tracked separately, the system cannot enforce "dorms are full but a private room is still available." A guest who wants a private room gets told the camp is full.
